Please sign, date, and duct tape the Wednesday folder. Remember to turn in all papers.
Bring in a baby photo of your child in an envelope with their name on it.
Look at child's planner and red homework folder tonight and every night. Daily homework might be adjusted during the week because of time constraints and/or level of difficulty.
There is a weekly goal area in your child's planner that I want them to do. Have your child think of a goal each week that will help them. If they complete the goal by Friday, please sign your name next to the goal. Goals can be anything that helps your child such as learn how to make my bed, tie my shoe, or come to school on time.
Please do the handout called A Secret Message From Your Teacher and the Happy Birthday sheet. Color the Birthday sheet.
Tuesday, August 21st
In second grade, we are going to have First Reconciliation and Communion. Please discuss with your child what your family's religion is and what you believe. What does it mean to be a Catholic?
Does your child know their address and phone number in case of emergencies? Do they know their parents full name? Please practice this with your child.
Please do the All About Me sheet. Remember to color it.
Wednesday, August 22nd
Write your child's first and last name on everything i.e school sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc.
Please do math workbook pages 1-1 and 1-2. Always do both sides of the math.
Thursday, August 23rd
Back to School Night!
- 7:00-7:20 Gym - intro
- 7:25-7:45 Session I
- 7:50-8:10 Session II
Do at least one kind thing for your parents tonight i.e help load dishwasher.
